Denzel Curry Atlantic city reviews
Patriots v Dolphins
"The game was fantastic. The first half was a dud after the opposing team's error led to the second TD, and the Denzel Curry appeared unengaged. It started with a bang when Pats got the ball and ran for a TD after the opposing team's kick for a field goal was blocked. The intermission really put things in order. The Denzel Curry looked menacing and ready to get the work done when the boys came out for the second half. Third quarter was a complete blast with 2 TD passes to THE GRONK at the ENDZONE right in front of my seat then Golden Boy, Mr. Brady, faked passed and RAN towards the endzone for 17 yards! It was triple awesome and the first time I saw Mr. Brady did that in front of my very eyes. He was pushed in the process but he wasn't hurt. All in all, a super awesome game--anytime the Denzel Curry play."
What a horrible concert!
Last night at Chastain, Denzel Curry unexpectedly delivered a disappointing performance. The show began with Adam Duritz backing up on stage alongside the opening acts, who were clearly close friends. However, it became evident that they had been drinking backstage. Adam's lackluster performance included stumbling through four of five songs, with one left unsung, before exiting the stage. The audience endured another 45 minutes of opening acts, with a warning that the upcoming 'quiet' song might not be well-received. Indeed, it wasn't. Approximately one-third of the crowd left, while the rest seemed more interested in socializing than listening to the music. When Adam returned to the stage, his rendition of 'Mr. Jones' was underwhelming. Disappointed, we left early and couldn't comment on the rest of the show. Despite having high expectations and bringing friends, the concert turned out to be an embarrassment and a waste of money. Last year's performance at Lakewood was outstanding, making this show even more disappointing. We paid $61 per ticket, only to leave feeling let down.
A lot of songs that are fan favorites, even if they aren't played on the radio, were a real mix of older and newer songs in the incredible set list. There's nothing quite like seeing Denzel Curry live.
I felt like this was a special show, even though the weather was unexpectedly miserable, especially with lawn seats. Yeah, the band was so incredible, I stood rooted, just watching, my toes growing colder, my hoodie getting more and more wet and cold from the rain. I've seen the band before, they never disappoint.
I also loved that it was all Denzel Curry. An epic set, really. Don't get me wrong, I love discovering a new band when there are openers, but it was just so great to get the band for almost three hours. Worth every cent and then some.
